Doctor of Physical Therapy Program News
April 2025
Brian Schaudt, PT, DPT (ÄÛ²ÝÊÓƵ Fox DPT graduate) and Ryan Jacobson, PT, DPT, PCS (DPT faculty) each contributed to the American Physical Therapy Association's first-ever primary care PT certificate course as invited panelists. Dr. Schaudt and Dr. Jacobson attested to the immense value of having PTs accessed immediately alongside our primary care provider (PCP) colleagues, at the first point when patients with pain and movement dysfunction enter the healthcare system. Brian serves in this manner in the most rural areas of Oregon and southern Washington, and Ryan recently completed a first-of-its-kind primary care PT service with Pediatricians in Salem, Oregon.
